Spring and Autumn: Mild temperatures between 25°C and 27°C, perfect for diving in a 3mm or 5mm wetsuit.
Summer (June - September): Water temperatures reach 28°C - 30°C, ideal for diving in a lightweight 3mm wetsuit or a shorty.
3 - Is the sea rough or are there strong currents?
The geographical location of Sharm El-Sheikh, sheltered by the Sinai mountains, provides numerous bays protected from the prevailing winds. Our dive sites range from calm lagoons perfect for beginners and training courses, to more exposed offshore locations (such as the Strait of Tiran and Ras Mohammed National Park) where dynamic currents attract large schools of fish and pelagic marine life. Every dive is managed in absolute safety by our expert guides.
4 - What kind of marine life can you encounter?
The seabeds of Sharm El-Sheikh host a truly unique marine ecosystem. During your dives, it is common to observe:
Reef Fish: Clownfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, and lionfish.
Large Marine Life: Sea turtles, stingrays, giant moray eels, and the majestic Napoleon wrasse.
Pelagics and Seasonal Species: Barracuda, trevallies, tuna, and on lucky occasions, dolphins, reef sharks, or even whale sharks.
5 - What is the best time to visit Sharm El-Sheikh?
Every season holds its own unique charm. Summer and Autumn offer exceptionally warm waters and an incredible abundance of marine life, while Winter and Spring provide extraordinary visibility and quieter dive sites.
